Bloomberg recently reported that resale prices for residential coops and condos in Manhattan fell noticeably in the third quarter of this year, and are currently at their lowest point since 2011, as a high number of active listings forces forces sellers to lower asking prices across the board.

Median prices, as reported, have dropped 8% since the third quarter of 2018. This trend in slowing sales is expected to continue, at least in the short term, as the number of properties on the market continues to increase.
